Movies are my first love — the kind that make you laugh, cry, or keep you on the edge of your seat. I see a parallel between filmmaking and photography: both are crafted frame by frame, light by light, moment by moment. That cinematic inspiration is something I bring into my photography style — intentional, emotional, and full of life.

Food is another deep passion of mine. I’m endlessly fascinated by the flavours, textures, and cultural richness behind every dish. As a photographer in Hamilton, I love working with local chefs and businesses in Burlington, Dundas, Waterdown, Toronto, and Niagara, capturing dishes so vibrant and detailed you can almost taste them. Food photography is where my love for storytelling and visual artistry truly comes alive.

Then there’s hiking — my escape and my muse. Exploring the natural beauty around Hamilton and Southern Ontario, from the Niagara Escarpment to the Bruce Trail, constantly fuels my creativity. I often hike with my camera in hand, chasing that perfect moment of golden light filtering through the trees or the sweeping vistas that take your breath away.

But my true inspiration? My daughter. When she came into my life, I felt an overwhelming need to capture every little smile, every milestone, every fleeting moment. That’s where my journey as a photographer began — from a place of love, awe, and a desire to hold onto time just a little longer.
